Graduate school can be a high-stress environment, and it is important to take care of your physical and mental health. We encourage you to take advantage of all the resources available to you on campus.
Stamps Health Services:
740 Ferst Drive, next to the Campus Recreation Complex
STAMPS provides medical care on campus. You can make an appointment in person, via the Patient Portal, or by calling (404) 894-1420 and speaking with one of our appointment desk staff. Same day appointments are reserved for urgent visits such as shortness of breath, vomiting, and high fevers.
If you can’t find an appointment in the portal, call the center and they will make an appointment to get you in urgently.
Smithgall Student Services building (Flag Building), Suite 238
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
All counseling services are confidential and free of charge for degree-seeking students. Make an appointment for an initial consultation by going directly to the center in the 2nd floor of the Smithgall Student Services Building. Services include short-term individual counseling, group counseling, couples counseling, testing and assessment, crisis intervention, referral services, as well as outreach programming, and consultation for faculty and staff, family and friends of Georgia Tech students.The Counseling Center is staffed by licensed psychologists, and counselors, as well as doctoral interns and graduate practicum students. The services at the Counseling Center are accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS).
Campus Recreation Center:
Monday-Thursday: 5:30 a.m. - 12 a.m.
Friday: 5:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. - 12 a.m.
From a state-of-the-art fitness center, world-class aquatics facility, the CRC offers fitness programs, competitive sports, aquatic programs, outdoor recreation, and more. The CRC also has various rental options for facilities, outdoor gear, and other equipment you may need.
